Playa Zancudo

Zancudo is a sleepy Costa Rican village stretching along 2 miles of unpaved road. On one side of the peninsula lies a river estuary full of marine, bird and animal life.
Things to do in Playa Zancudo
The
beach and ocean are on the other side of the river with miles of deserted beaches. Located
near the southwestern town of Golfito, Zancudo is easily accessible by water
taxi or rental car. Friendly Ticos (Costa Ricans) mingle with Gringos in local
restaurants, bars and enjoying the Pacific Ocean beaches 40 yards from your
door. Most everything you will need will be a short walk or bike ride away.
Fruits and vegetables are delivered to your door by "Willie the Veggie
Man.”
There are many things to do in Playa Zancudo. The friendly walking beach is right in front of your rental house. The water temperature is 85 degrees.
